Position Overview 

As Student Recruitment Manager – VIC/Asia, you will join an exceptional sales and marketing team at Australia’s fastest growing Education Organisation. Your relationships and industry experience will be crucial to your success in the role.  You will expand and grow partnerships with strategically important partners to drive growth and sales. 

Assigned to work predominantly with Asian-focused partner accounts, you will achieve a sales quota and strategic objectives. You will represent the entire range of Greenwich College products and services, driving our partner accounts and sales cycles and ensuring needs and expectations are met. 

Note this role is maternity leave cover for 12 months with the view to ongoing employment within Greenwich and/or the greater NextEd wide organisation.

About you

You’ll be a self-starter who loves working in a fast-paced and dynamic International Education environment. Someone who is a people person and loves being part of a team!

You will also have current industry experience within the International Education environment, and will be responsible for: 

  • Representing Greenwich College amongst the wider Queensland International agent base.
  • Providing information to prospective international students/agents on the admissions process and courses including assistance with the process.
  • Recruiting students directly or indirectly from targeted Asian market countries by liaising with onshore and offshore education agent partners and working closely as necessary with others in the wider Sales and marketing team to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Being proactive in setting up partnership agreements and building strong relationships with education agencies across QLD and elsewhere as necessary.
  • Managing agency agreements along with agent database management.
  • Following up pending Letters of Offer (LoO) issuance and conversion to enrolment as necessary. 
  • Preparation of weekly marketing reports (agent visits, new agent sign-ups, number of students enrolled, market feedback, peer activity, threats, opportunities, etc).
  • Recommending to management any in-demand courses or other areas of focus for the business to increase turnover or provide an additional revenue stream. 
  • Coordinating and promoting events including information sessions and education expos.
  • Effectively meeting targets and maintaining the conversion ratio.
  • Assistance with designing social media campaigns and promotional materials for the college.
  • Working closely with managers and other team members to develop and implement quality services.
  • Providing student counselling services if/as required.



Requirements

  • Experience across both the ELICOS and VET sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated sales and marketing experience in the international education industry.
  • Fluent in English & a second language is an advantage (preferably an Asian language).
  • Hold unrestricted work rights within Australia.
  • Ability to travel and work occasional non-standard hours as required.
